Damien Crone is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Positive Psychology Center at the University of Pennsylvania. Over the course of the last decade, Damien has been involved in psychology research on a wide range of topics including emotion, decision making, and morality, working in collaboration with researchers across psychology, philosophy, economics, and neuroscience.

Damien received his PhD in psychology from the University of Melbourne, where he conducted a dissertation project developing and validating new tools and methods to use in the empirical study of moral phenomena. Damien is currently a member of the Humanities and Human Flourishing Project at the Positive Psychology Center, which seeks to study the role of the arts and humanities in well-being. As a somewhat recent arrival to Philadelphia, Damien enjoys eating his way around his new hometown when not teaching or researching.
