Allison Joyce is the Vice President, Talent Partner for Walmart US. Walmart US is a $390BN operating unit of Walmart Inc. with 1.6 million employee associates. Allison’s team supports the Walmart US strategy through workforce planning, talent management, and recruiting 150,000 hires per year.

Allison is part of the Walmart Global Talent leadership team, where she advances innovative talent initiatives through talent insights and operational excellence. She drives alignment between the Walmart Global Talent COE processes and programs to the Walmart US organizational priorities. Allison reports to Amy Goldfinger, SVP Global Talent and Workforce Strategy for Walmart, and to Julie Murphy, EVP and Chief People Officer for Walmart US.

Allison brings more than 25 years of experience in the talent and HR space across multiple industries. She joined Walmart from Comcast where she was Senior Vice President, Talent, responsible for overseeing company-wide recruiting and talent management functions as a Center of Excellence lead. During 10 years at Comcast, Allison elevated their approach to talent. Her advocacy fueled an internal marketplace, drove an increasingly data-driven approach to how talent supported the business, launched the “Create the Future with Us” talent brand, and designed and piloted innovative programs including Talent Catalyst, gig, and the Career Center on X1. Allison’s team was collectively responsible for nearly 30,000 professional hires per year.

Before Comcast, Allison was a stay-at-home mom for five years while she consulted for brands like Bloomin’ Brands and Brinker International on talent acquisition and development strategies and operations. Prior to this, Allison spent 11 years in the combined PepsiCo and Yum! Brands organizations where she rose through the ranks. In her last role at Yum! Brands she led the strategy and execution of talent acquisition for all business units globally. Her experiences within Yum! Brands included employment branding, field staffing, project management, technology implementation, and international human resources.

Allison started her career in human resources at PepsiCo. Allison earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Carolina and completed the Advanced Human Resources Executive Program at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
