A course block is a sequence of Penn LPS Online courses (typically 4-6) designed to develop skills and knowledge with increasing complexity in a specific area of study. You may enroll in one or several courses in a block without committing to the entire course of study. Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences program may enroll in some or all courses in a block to fulfill the requirements for their degree concentration.
Please note: Students completing certain course blocks while enrolled in the Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) degree are awarded a certificate upon completion of the degree. If you are enrolled in the BAAS program and don't complete the degree requirements to graduate, you are not eligible to receive the certificate.
