Beth McConnell is the Deputy Executive Director of Policy and Programs, where she oversees the City of Philadelphia Mayor's Office of Community Empowerment and Opportunity (CEO) teams that invest in benefits access, workforce development, upward mobility, policy advocacy, data, and research. Beth started at CEO in 2021 as the Director of Policy, and prior to that did policy advocacy for the Philadelphia Association of Community Development Corporations (PACDC), was executive director of the Media and Democracy Coalition, and state director for the Pennsylvania Public Interest Research Group (PennPIRG). Beth is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
