Courtney Smith Goodrich leads the Consumer Lending Shared Services team at Wells Fargo. Shared Services leads all centralized business support for Consumer Lending’s transformational efforts and provides overall coordination and leadership and planning across Consumer Lending for all cross-functional initiatives and enterprise-wide programs.
Courtney joined Wells Fargo in 2018 after 25 years with JP Morgan Chase. Before her current role, Courtney was the Chief Operating Officer for Wells Fargo Technology, where she had responsibility for enterprise technology strategy, optimization and transformation. Her team focused on delivering enterprise technologies through effective coordination and enablement of Technology’s day-to-day operations. Courtney and her team were also responsible for creating and implementing organizational design, location strategy, vendor strategy, performance management, and resource management for the Technology organization.
Courtney held a number of senior technology leadership positions at JP Morgan Chase, including Chief Technology Strategy & Programs Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Global Technology. She also held roles in various business technology teams, including investment banking, treasury and security services, and private banking.
She has been an active advocate for emerging talent throughout her career. She is an active mentor and sponsor and has chaired multiple Diversity & Inclusion councils. She is also a frequent speaker at industry and university forums.
Courtney received a bachelor’s degree in Business and a master’s degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Fiscal Management from the University of Delaware.
