Lynda Risser is a Principal in the Human Resources division at Vanguard, overseeing the Human Resources Business Partners subdivision. This organization is comprised of HR Business Partners who are the senior-most HR leaders running the human capital agenda for the business partner organizations they support.
More recently, she led the Talent & Inclusion organization, responsible for talent branding and marketing; talent acquisition; career and talent development; succession planning; performance management; learning and leadership development; and diversity and inclusion.
Prior to this, Lynda was a Relationship Manager and HR Business Partner for several divisions, where she provided consultative and human resources solutions—driving a division’s full human capital business strategy. She has also supported Leadership Development and the Retail Investor Group by leading their hiring processes and designing and heading talent assessment and development, performance management, and succession management strategies.
Prior to working at Vanguard, Lynda began her career in HR in the health care industry, supporting staffing and strategic management recruiting. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Psychology from Albright College, a master’s degree in Training and Organizational Development from St. Joseph’s University, and the Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR ®) Certification.
