Dr. Phillip Fackler is a lecturer in the Critical Writing Program at the University of Pennsylvania. He holds a PhD in religious studies and has written for both academic audiences and nonprofits, especially those that seek to build coalitions with religious communities on specific community challenges. Phillip was the director of the Writing Center at St. Augustine’s University, working with writers on everything from classroom essays and capstone projects to business proposals, market analyses, and job applications. As someone who is intensely curious about the world, Phillip loves working with writers from all backgrounds, tailoring his coaching and feedback to the needs of each writer so they can become more confident in the skills they have and expand their writing toolbox along the way.
