Marshall B. Knudson is a linguistic and sociocultural anthropologist with a background in the study of South American indigenous languages, peoples, and social movements. His dissertation research explored the resurgence of Mapuche ethnic identity in Chile alongside ongoing efforts to revitalize the Mapuche language, Mapudungun. Now working as a practicing anthropologist and researcher in the world of financial services, Marshall is passionate about understanding how organizations work, why they succeed or fail, and how organizational culture can be improved for the benefit of employees, customers, and society in general. He currently teaches the course Anthropology of Organizations with a multilingual and cross-cultural perspective rooted in years of international research experience.
